A wonderfully drinkable interpretation of a classic English ale. Bookbinder is a blend of four malts combined with two classic Nelson grown European hops (Fuggles and Riwaka). The beer pours an attractive reddish brown, with a cream coloured head. Bookbinder has a sweet, perfumey, malt and hop aroma with a soft, malty, fruit and vinous palate that is both full flavoured and refreshing with a long, gently drying finish.

Even the King of the Underworld needs a best friend. For Hades, that was Cerberus, his three headed doggo. While his extra heads made him a triply good guard dog, he did chew through a lot of sandals. This West Coast IPA is Emerson's triple dry hopped tribute to the hound of Hades. They've used four different breeds of hop, Centennial, Columbus, Simcoe and Mosaic, to create this boisterous mutt, with a fruit salad bomb of flavour. At 6.7% you might want to share it with at least one other head.

The adventure doesn't have to end when you get home. Day Tripper is a low carb beer that's as intrepid as you are. Brewed with a combination of hop pellets and hop oil, for better mouthfeel, balance, fruitiness, and complexity. Drifter is the beer with no real plans. A cold IPA that doesn't know where it's going until it gets there. The initial hoppy hit of citrus, tropical, and stone fruit flavours soon drifts into a clean, crisp, and cruisy finish. Best enjoyed super-chilled, at your own pace, in your happy place. You don't need to know what time it is to know it's beer o'clock.

Before the sixties started swinging, mild mannered Brits liked nothing more than a Mild Ale. It was the nation's favourite beer style in a time of politeness, moderation and general niceness. Ducks in a Row is a throwback to these days. Classically malty, with soft toffee and caramel notes. Despite the modest 3.3% it also has a good body, thanks to the subtle addition of Golden Syrup. Our iconic hoiho are critically endangered, with an estimated 143 nests remaining on the mainland and Rakiura, a number that drops dramatically every year. This is Emerson's fourth amber liquid in aid of yellow-eyed penguins, but it won't be their last. This NZ Pale Ale is easy-drinking, with vibrant notes of stone fruit, and a biscuity malt backbone. Keep saying yep to YEPs.

A hallucinatory, mind-bending, consciousness-expanding, dream-like experience is not what you'll find in this can. It's just a beer, man. But, this cloudy IPA does have a gnarly hit of Riwaka, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops, with a tropical citrus flavour, and a totally piney finish. At least it's a trip for your taste-buds. Far out.

Porter is the oldest commercially brewed style and London Porter was Emerson's first beer. Dark, dry and mellow with some hoppy characteristics, pours a deep brown colour with reddish tints.

Emerson's Mein Helles Bock is a strong pale lager that showcases clean, elegant, bready malt flavors, making it deceptively easy to drink. The Helles Bock style, also known as Maibock, is a relatively pale, strong, malty German lager with a nicely attenuated finish that enhances drinkability. It often features a more noticeable hop character compared to other bocks.
