Our Australian Tawny shows the classic caramel treacle colour of a tawny style.

Amber with streaks of brown gold. Intense with subtle hints of oak and dried fruit. Balanced with a characteristic taste of almonds and hints of liquorice.

Ruby Ports are a blend of young, vibrant wines from different harvests. They are kept for an average of two to three years in oak vats before they are blended, fined and bottled ready to enjoy. Cockburn's Fine Ruby is a full-bodied Port with ripe red-fruit flavours, balanced with a fine structure. Perfect at the end of a dinner or simply to enjoy with good friends on relaxed occasions.

Tawny Ports are a blend of young wines from various harvests, are kept for an average of two to three years in casks. They are lighter in colour than Ruby Ports and combine the fruitiness of young wines and the nuttiness derived from the maturation in seasoned oak casks. Cockburn's Special Reserve was originally introduced in 1969 as the first great Reserve Port, creating an entirely new Port category that was fundamental to the success of Port and the Douro over the following decades. Cockburn's Special Reserve is a very fine wine selected for its richness and concentration, from the finest vineyards in the Upper Douro and matured in oak casks for five years. This longer wood ageing gives its fruity and full-bodied palate a distinctive dry finish, making Cockburn's Special Reserve the benchmark for all Reserve Ports.

This Muscat has been aged in barrel and is designed to enjoy as soon as opened. It will also keep for several more years in bottle.

Dow's Fine White ages mainly in wood, gaining a rich golden colour and an intense rich nutty aromatic complexity. A certain amount of wine is not wood-aged and is blended in to add freshness and fruit character. On the palate, balanced and smooth, with excellent acidity and a long finish.

Dow's Fine Ruby was aged in seasoned oak casks at our lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia for an average of 3 years, and bottled when ready to drink. Exuberant youthful fruit flavours make it perfect for informal drinking.

A superb Tawny from a leading Port house. Dow's Tawny is a very fine and delicate style, with pretty red fruits balanced by nutty depth derived from an average of three years aging in small oak casks. Owned by the historic and also very modern Symington family stable of Ports, the Dow's has both pedigree and sheer quality on its side.

Fonseca 10 Year Old Tawny is russet in colour with brilliant crimson highlights and a fragrant, ripe-fruit bouquet. Its smooth, silky texture and subtle oak nuances are balanced by a fresh acidity and tannic 'grip' that culminate in a long, elegant, plumy finish.
