Black Robin Gin is a contemporary London Dry gin that is inspired by the critically endangered Chatham Island's Black Robin. With every bottle sold Simply Pure make a donation to their charity partners to help them protect NZ's native species and wild places. Black Robin Gin is handcrafted and batch-distilled in a Arnold-Holstein copper reflux pot still by Master Distiller Michael Deinlein, who's family have been crafting alcoholic beverages since the 1930's. Using triple distilled whey as their base, they go on to distill Black Robin Gin a further two times with 11 traditional and exotic botanicals including locally sourced horopito. They then blend with pristine filtered spring water sourced from a sprung underneath our distillery in the hills above Tauranga.

Crafted with a Tanqueray London Dry gin base, luxurious & juicy tasting French blackcurrants, and finished with an exotic twist of vanilla. Enjoy in a classic G&T combining 50mls of Tanqueray Blackcurrant, 150ml premium tonic water, ice and a garnish of fresh blackcurrant.

Classic and universally respected, Tanqueray is crisp and dry. The recipe is a fiercely guarded secret (although it is thought to contain as little as four botanicals) but strong juniper notes pull through with a hint of spice and a dry finish.
